What is ventilation testing?
Ventilation Testing now comes under Part F of Building Regulations and tests air flow for all new developments. It can test everything from the simplest extractor fan to a heat-recovery system for a whole house.
How are vents tested?
Using UKAS-certified equipment, I test for ventilation on the completion of a building, usually at the same time as testing for air tightness.
Why are they tested?
This comes under Part F of Building Regulations. Now that buildings are becoming increasingly air-tight, it’s crucial to check that ventilation rates are sufficient.
